Monumental

I wonder: what am I saying in “Monumental”? So many pictures framing diminutive figures within bold, expansive landscapes, walls, gateways, monuments, rock formations, skies. 

Am I responding to awe-inspiring ‘place’ and ‘space’?... or... are these indeed ‘self-portraits as metaphor’ - photographic ‘brushstrokes exploring how I became who I am... and what I might become?
